Ilya Shapiro is a senior fellow and director of constitutional studies at the Manhattan Institute. He previously served as executive director and senior lecturer at the Georgetown Center for the Constitution, as well as a vice president of the Cato Institute and director of Cato’s Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies. He is also the author of four books, including Lawless which examines the ideological takeover of American law schools and the miseducation of lawyers.
